The course starts on Tuesday 23 September 2025. There will be 05 online LIVE classes on Tuesdays from (two options: 9am-10am Brussels AND 6.30pm to 7.30pm Brussels time). Recordings will be made available quickly after each class.

This course is at an intermediate level and is recommended after the Foundation program.
Weekly homework & self-study
Students will be required to practice the chanting in between classes and submit FIVE homework recordings through the duration of this course. It is not possible to learn chanting only through live classes, self-practice is a very important aspect. You will have self-paced courses with organised recordings for self-practice.

A Hymn from Ṛgveda dedicated to Goddess Lakṣmī – one understands how to prepare the mind to invite abundance, beauty and harmony with a true understanding of wealth into our lives.
Please note: Sūktam will be taught as I received from my teachers The Challakere Brothers. This Sūktam is taught with different svara-s in various traditions as it is a khila-Sūktam (added later) therefore variations in svara are accepted depending on tradition.
Objectives:
- Learn to chant the Śrī Sūktam for application in personal sādhana.
- Opportunity to learn and join an 11 days sādhanā with Shantala (Dates will be announced - to be confirmed).
- Understand the concept of wealth in the Veda.

- 5 Zoom classes on Tuesdays with two time options: 9am-10am or 6.30pm-7.30pm (Brussels time).
- Self paced detailed step by course online course (Value €110) on our study platform.
- Workbook with text in English transliteration, Devanāgari and meaning of hymn.
- Optional homework through the course - submit 5 recordings & get individual feedback. Homework will be evaluated by Poornima or Shantala.
- Zoom classes are interactive, students will get a turn practicing with the teacher real time for immediate feedback. This is not obligatory, if you prefer not to, it is not a problem!
- Zoom classes are all recorded and will be made available to students unable to join the live classes (will be deleted after 4 months). But other course material is permanent access.

This is the perfect next step once you have finished the Foundation program.
I have already studied this previously with Shantala, is there a different fee for me?
If you have previously studied this course with Shantala either live or through our self-paced option, you can contact Edgar at [email protected] for a repeat or upgrade option. Please note – this only applies to Shantala’s students. If you have studied with a different teacher & tradition, this option doesn’t apply to you.
Is there any homework between classes?
All students will be required to go through self-paced course material for practice between classes. This is the best way to use this program. Without the practice, it is not possible to learn these hymns just from the live classes alone. This will be the student’s responsibility to follow through. You will have the option to submit 5 homework (recording of your practice). This must be done according to the schedule provided and cannot be accumulated.
How long will the ZOOM class recordings be available?
The ZOOM class recordings will be available for up to 3 months after course ends. For privacy reasons, we cannot make these videos available permanently as students participate in these classes. However, the three self-paced courses will be available permanently which has all the recordings and learning resources you will need to continue practice after course ends.
Are there any scholarships or discounts offered on this course?
This course takes Shantala’s time extensively, especially as each student receives individual feedback. Payment plans are possible to make it convenient. We are unable to offer discounts or scholarships for this teacher intensive program.
Can I follow this course through recordings as I’m unable to be there during this time (or time-zone inconvenient)?
Yes, absolutely, you can follow the course through recordings. Just make sure to send in your weekly homework on time and receive feedback. This is a very effective way to learn!
Who will evaluate my recordings?
Shantala & Poornima will evaluate all homework for students on this program. Poornima has completed our teacher program and regularly assists Shantala in the classes and for homework evaluations.
