Studying these sūktam-s prepares one suitably for more advanced courses like Rudram or the Teacher Training program. - Students who are able to practice in between classes with help from our study platform.

Frequently asked questions
1. What is the difference between this and the self-paced courses on the same topic?
The LIVE program includes 7 LIVE classes on Zoom which you will be able to take along with a cohort group. This group will enjoy a special course area (separate from the self-paced courses) with a discussion area dedicated to your learning through the duration of the program. All these live classes will be recorded and made available to the group. Please note – due to student participation in the live classes, these recordings will not be available permanently (privacy issues). But the self-paced courses included with this program will be available permanently.
2. I already bought these self-paced courses, can I join this program?
Please send us an email and you can easily “upgrade” to this LIVE program with payment of only the difference in course fees. Write to [email protected]
3. I have just finished the Foundation program, can I take this course?
This is the perfect next step once you have finished the Foundation program.
4. Is there any homework between classes?
All students will be required to go through self-paced course material for practice between classes. This is the best way to use this program. Without the practice, it is not possible to learn these hymns just from the live classes alone. This will be the student’s responsibility to follow through.
5. How long will the ZOOM class recordings be available?
The ZOOM class recordings will be available for up to 3 months after course ends. For privacy reasons, we cannot make these videos available permanently as students participate in these classes. However, the three self-paced courses will be available permanently which has all the recordings and learning resources you will need to continue practice after course ends.
6. Are there any scholarships or discounts offered on this course?
This course takes Shantala’s time extensively, especially as each student receives individual feedback. Payment plans are possible to make it convenient.
7. Can I follow this course through recordings as I’m unable to be there during this time (or time-zone inconvenient)?
Yes, absolutely, you can follow the course through recordings. Just make sure to send in your weekly homework on time and receive feedback. This is a very effective way to learn!
8. Who will evaluate my recordings?
Poornima Mysore, who has completed Shantala’s teacher training program will be assisting Shantala through this course and provide students with individual feedback for each Sūktam.
9. Refunds on this program
Please note that all sign-ups are final for this program as students will receive instant access to all the course material. There will be no refunds.
