Yoga Sūtras – chanting & etymology – samādhi pādaḥ
There is an efficient and meditative way to achieve a base level familiarisation of the Yoga Sūtras. The traditional system of repeating after the teacher in rhythmic verses or chanting, helps practitioners not only become familiar with the text, but also in memorisation.
This course helps you through the chanting step by step of all 51 Sūtras of Samādhi pāda, the 1st chapter of Patañjali’s yoga sūtras. You will also learn some general chanting rules as well as etymology of key words for a solid foundational start to the study of this seminal text on Yoga.
